There is ample parking for our patients at Sturminster Newton and the Marnhull Surgery. Parking for patients is adjacent to the road in Sturminster Newton. We would ask patients to park in these spaces only while they are in the surgery. Please respect the nominated parking areas for the Doctors and staff as access is needed at all times for GP’s to be able to leave to attend to urgent home visits and for ambulances attending the surgery.

The surgery at Sturminster Newton is easily accessible. Disabled parking is available; which is located right out side of the main entrance. The main doors are automatic, by pressing the large square signs to the left of the door, these allow easy access for anyone with mobility difficulties or those with pushchairs, scooters or shopping.
Inside, all clinic rooms are on the ground floor. Reception has a low-level desk area to allow easier access to the reception desk.
Situated at the front of the waiting room are seats with arms for patients who require extra help when standing.
Reception and the doctor’s consulting rooms at the Marnhull surgery are also accessible without negotiating steps or ramps. Disabled parking is also available.
There is a wheelchair available at both surgeries for those patients who may need it. Please ask at reception, however, the practice cannot, for legal/insurance reasons, provide a member of staff to push the wheelchair for you, so please remember to bring someone to assist you.
